Reims come into this on the back of a goalless draw against Nice which means they are now unbeaten in eight matches. They have established themselves firmly in mid-table with not much left to play for this season. Metz were defeated by Lille last weekend after missing a penalty to go to 1-1 before conceding a late goal to seal that loss. That loss followed back-to-back defeats to Monaco in the league and cup and they are now winless in five matches and their only win in their last seven was a French cup victory over second division Valenciennes. One side is in good form and the other is in poor form, so, Reims will be confident of victory in this one.
