Injury-hit PSG’s Champions League campaign is not exactly going to plan right now with a 2-1 loss to Leipzig their latest setback while Rennes have also been given a fairly rude awakening in their European endeavours, but that is where the similarities end as their respective league form is hugely different. Reigning champions PSG have won their last seven Ligue 1 games and conceded just once in the process while Rennes’ win over Brest last week was their first win in four league games. Rennes have had some joy in this fixture in recent times but, even against a PSG side missing a raft of attacking players, they are unlikely to trouble them on this occasion.
