Reims were enjoying an excellent 2019-20 campaign before lockdown and the shortened season saw them finish in sixth place, earning themselves a Europa League qualifying spot in the process. Monaco had to be content with a mid-table finish themselves but that was a marked improvement on the previous year and they actually only finished a point behind Reims. An evenly-matched affair awaits then and a share of the spoils could well be the outcome, especially as Reims recorded a league-high 11 draws in the last campaign.
