THE PREDICTION
Monaco’s challenge for the title was encouraged with a 4-0 victory away to Saint-Etienne prior to the international break. That extends their record to just one defeat in 17 since mid-December. That run has more or less assured them of Champions League qualification but they remain the unlikely shout for the league. They come up against a Metz side who lost 3-1 at home to Rennes, a result that leaves them now on the outside of the European spots but they remain in contention. Monaco will fancy their chances, despite Metz’s ambitions.
