A 2-1 victory away to relegation threatened Nantes last weekend has continued to maintain Lyon’s push for an unlikely title. It means they have back-to-back victories in the league but they fell to a cup quarter-final defeat at home to Monaco in midweek. They come up against a side that begin the weekend at the top-of-the-table (PSG play the day before, though, and could go above them before they kick off). Lille were held last weekend to create a wonderful scenario at the top whereby Lille, in first, are on 70, PSG on 69, Monaco on 68 and Lyon on 67. Obviously, that could be different by the time this match kicks off. Both sides will sense a real opportunity as the run-in continues. Given that, both teams to score seems a solid bet.
