THE PREDICTION
Ukraine’s opening match draw in France was backed up with a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Finland. Despite being unbeaten and having earned a point against the current world champions, they could potentially feel disappointed with only two points from two games. They will be without Vitaliy Mykolenko following his red card against the Finnish. Kazakhstan managed to hold France to a 2-0 scoreline which meant they did the old cliche of ‘draw the second-half’. Their general improvement in recent years, especially at home, will be difficult to replicate with such a tough group this year. The home team will be expected to win quite comfortably.
