THE PREDICTION
Ever since Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo came to Molineux, he has taken the FA Cup extremely seriously. After a third round exit last season at the hands of Man Utd, the Portuguese boss will be hoping for a cup run similar to that of 2018/19 when Wolves reached the semi-finals. Crystal Palace meanwhile have suffered two third round defeats in three FA Cup campaigns under Roy Hodgson, with a run to the quarter finals in-between. Both teams are sat level on points in the Premier League and this is likely to be a closely fought contest, which much depending on the starting line-ups of both sides. Wolves’ history in this competition under Nuno suggests that their first team will take to the field at Molineux and that, combined with home advantage should prove enough for them to edge past the Eagles here.
