Stockport County hold wonderful memories of this fixture in years past, beating West Ham last time the two faced off in the League Cup back in 1996. Fast forward to 2021 and the Hammers return to Edgeley Park for an FA Cup third round meeting with the Hatters. Stockport compete in the Vanarama National League, four divisions below David Moyes’ side and you’d have to go back to Lincoln beating Burnley in 2017 for the last time a Non-League team defeated a Premier League side in the FA Cup.
