THE PREDICTION

With seven points accrued from the last nine available to them in League Two, Stevenage head into this FA Cup third round tie on form and hoping to cause an upset against a Swansea side currently sat within the Championship top two. The Swans have won three of their last four league matches and their first choice starting XI should prove too strong for Stevenage, but the question is whether Steve Cooper will field such a side with his team in such a strong league position and the potential consequences of any key players getting injured. With that in mind, the result itself may not be as clear cut as one would think but either way goals don’t look like being easy to come by, considering that five of Stevenage’s last seven games in all competitions and seven of Swansea’s last eight league matches have seen under 2.5 goals scored. A similar outcome looks on the cards in this contest.
