THE PREDICTION
Southampton host Arsenal in round 4 of the FA Cup, having got past Shrewsbury Town fairly comfortably in midweek, recording a 2-0 win at St Mary’s. They are at home once again here against the defending champions who are in excellent form, winning five of their last six games in all competitions. Ralph Hasenhuttl fielded a youthful Saints side against the Shrews with a number of second-string players also given a run-out. However, against Arsenal the first team is expected to play and this will likely lead to a very close contest between the two sides. Extra time may well be needed to decide the outcome of this tie, as it was in Arsenal’s third round match vs Newcastle.
