The pick of all the FA Cup fourth round ties sees Man Utd welcome fierce rivals Liverpool to Old Trafford in what will be the first time the two have collided in the FA Cup since 2012. Whilst the tie is far from ideal for both sides with each in the midst of an exciting battle at the top of the Premier League, any chance to claim bragging rights over such a big rival is not to be sniffed. It isn’t easy to predict what sort of team both managers will field, with Jurgen Klopp having proved in last year’s FA Cup that he isn’t afraid to play a team void of first choice players regardless of the opposition, after beating Everton in the third round with a mixture of second string and youth team players. Man Utd however, are more likely to play a stronger side having not beaten Liverpool in all competitions since 2018. A close encounter is expected regardless of the players selected and under 2.5 goals scored for what would be the fifth straight match between these two may well prove the smart play.
