THE PREDICTION
Luton will be hoping that the excellent recent home record in the league translates to the FA Cup, with the Hatters having not lost in their last six Championship matches at Kenilworth Road, winning three of those games. Reading will prove tough opposition though, with the Royals having welcomed key striker Lucas Joao back to their side in their most recent Championship game. Joao returned in style, scoring twice in Reading’s 1-2 win away at Huddersfield and Luton will need to keep him quiet here. Whether manager Veljko Paunovic opts to start Joao in the FA Cup however, is another matter with other attackers such as George Puscas hoping for an opportunity. Either way, Luton will be confident of advancing to the next round and should get the better of Reading here on their own patch.
