To say that Burnley’s record in the FA Cup under Sean Dyche is poor would quite frankly be an understatement! The furthest the Clarets have made it in the competition under Dyche was the fifth round in 2017, before they were knocked out by Non-League side at the time Lincoln City. Here they have a good opportunity to progress to the fourth round against L1 side MK Dons. Burnley’s already small squad means that they have little choice but to field a number of first choice players and providing they show zero complacency, the hosts should have more than enough quality within their side to get past their lower league opponents with relatively little stress.
