THE LOWDOWN

WOLVES

  • Two straight defeats on the road have stunted Wolves’ progresses in their quest for European football and they’ll be very happy to get back to Molineux here, where they last beat Leicester 2-1.
  • After being utilised from the bench away at West Ham, Raul Jimenez is expected to come back into the starting line-up, whilst right-back Nelson Semedo is absent with a hamstring injury.

CRYSTAL PALACE

  • Crystal Palace secured a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals in midweek and will be hoping that they can repeat their last away performance in the Premier League which saw them thrash Watford 1-4 at Vicarage Road.
  • Joel Ward and Nathan Ferguson remain absent for this one, but other than those two, Palace boss Patrick Viera has a full-strength squad to choose from.

THE PREDICTION

Whilst Wolves are expected to largely dominate proceedings here with home advantage being in their favour, Crystal Palace will represent a big threat on the counter-attack with an abundance of riches at Viera’s disposal going forward and it would be no surprise if for the fourth straight fixture, Wolves failed to keep a clean sheet. Meanwhile, each of Crystal Palace’s last three games in all competitions have seen both teams score and with the result here capable of going the way of either side, backing the same outcome to occur looks very much like the smart move.

Tip: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
