THE LOWDOWN

WATFORD

  • Watford avoided the humiliation of a record 12 straight home defeats as they managed to hold Everton to a 0-0 draw thanks largely to goalkeeper Ben Foster, who pulled off a string of good saves to deny the Toffees.
  • Roy Hodgson continues to deal with injury concerns with several players nursing knocks and potentially unavailable for this one, but it would be no surprise if he was to name the same side which drew against Everton.

LEICESTER

  • Leicester finally got themselves back to winning ways last time out and did so comprehensively, beating rock bottom Norwich by three goals to nil at the King Power Stadium.
  • Jamie Vardy netted twice and is likely to start again in Hertfordshire, although Ryan Bertrand, Wilfred Ndidi and Ricardo Pereira remain injured.

THE PREDICTION

Leicester was expected to end their winless streak when taking into account their hapless opponent in Norwich and are likely to dominate here as well another relegated opponent. Vardy having rediscovered his scoring touch is an extremely worrying prospect for Watford, who will once again be relying on Ben Foster between the sticks to keep them in the contest as was the case against Everton. Ultimately though, the firepower of the Foxes should see them eventually break any Watford resistance and ultimately go on to triumph at Vicarage Road.

Tip: LEICESTER TO WIN
