NOTTINGHAM FOREST PREVIEW: TRICKY TREES
Under the management of former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo, Nottingham Forest mathematically secured survival on the final day of last season following on from a points deduction earlier on in the campaign. They have started this season extremely well and have a deceptively deep and impressive squad.
Forest come into this one on the back of sharing a 2-2 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion in an entertaining clash at the AMEX Stadium last weekend. Forest have a lot of technical skill, speed and strength on the counter attack but a red card to Morgan Gibbs-White last weekend will be a concern for this one.
FULHAM PREVIEW: FLUENCY OF FULHAM
Marco Silva is into his fourth season in charge of Fulham and the Cottagers have started the campaign extremely well. They suffered a defeat to Manchester United on the opening day of the season with a late Joshua Zirkzee strike proving decisive but they have been unbeaten in the Premier League ever since then.
The visitors come into this clash up in Nottingham after defeating Newcastle United by three goals to one at Craven Cottage. Raul Jimenez and Emile Smith Rowe scored early for Fulham before Harvey Barnes pulled a goal back. Reiss Nelson clinched all three points with a strike in second-half stoppage-time.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST TEAM NEWS: NO MGW
There have been a few injury issues for Nottingham Forest to deal with over recent weeks and now they are without captain Morgan Gibbs-White due to his suspension last weekend meaning that is now unavailable for one match.
As well as the former Wolverhampton Wanderers man, both Danilo and Ibrahim Sangare remain out for the hosts with defender Willy Boly still a doubt ahead of this weekend.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Alex Moreno; Ward-Prowse, Yates; Hudson-Odoi, Anderson, Elanga; Wood
UNAVAILABLE: Danilo (Injured), Sangare (Injured), Gibbs-White (Suspended)
QUESTIONABLE: Boly (Injured)
FULHAM TEAM NEWS: ONLY ONE ISSUE
Fulham have often been dealing with a fully fit and available squad since their return to the Premier League and, of the players who play regularly or are expected to feature, they do so once again.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and Benfica forward Carlos Vinicius remains a doubt but his calf injury is subsiding and he could well be available this weekend.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Pereira, Lukic; Adama Traore, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Raul Jimenez
UNAVAILABLE:
QUESTIONABLE: Carlos Vinicius (Injured)
NOTTINGHAM FOREST VS FULHAM PREDICTION
As mentioned, Nottingham Forest were involved in an entertaining clash against Brighton last weekend and have the capability to hit anyone on the counter-attack, as they showed against Liverpool a couple of weeks ago. Every Fulham game since that opening day defeat to United have featured both teams scoring, despite being unbeaten, so this could be quite a fun watch for the neutral this weekend.
