THE LOWDOWN
NORWICH
- Norwich’s 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa last weekend combined with Burnley’s win over Watford officially consigned Dean Smith’s side to relegation from the Premier League as the Canaries continue to bounce between English football’s top two tiers.
- Smith is blighted by injuries once again heading into this match, with Josh Sargent and Kenny McLean both out alongside Irish pair Adam Idah and Andrew Omobamidele.
WEST HAM
- West Ham come into this match on the back of European heartbreak away to Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany and it’s hard to predict how they will respond just three days after such a devastating defeat.
- Aaron Cresswell suffered a straight red card on Thursday night and could well be taken out of the firing line here, with Ben Johnson restored to the starting line-up, but with European football still up for grabs next season, a strong side will surely be selected.

THE PREDICTION
With Norwich now officially relegated from the Premier League, the lack of pressure on their shoulders from here on it could see the Canaries play with more freedom here, particularly when going forward as they no doubt deploy a largely attacking style of play in a bid to prove more potent in front of goal. However, West Ham will be hunting for three points and a strong response following their European exit and will surely carve out plenty of opportunities against statistically the second worst defence in this season’s Premier League going into the weekend. Therefore, the smart move may well be to back over 2.5 goals in this fixture, regardless of the overall outcome.
Tip: OVER 2.5 GOALS
