THE LOWDOWN

LEICESTER

  • Leicester were all set for three points at home to Tottenham in midweek, winning 2-1 going into the 95th minute before they somehow conspired to not only throw victory away, but ultimately lose 2-3, a result which saw them drop to four points behind Brighton in the Premier League table.
  • After coming on as a substitute against Spurs, full-back James Justin could feature from the start against Brighton although the Foxes remain without three players through international duty, whilst the likes of Jamie Vardy, Ricardo Periera, Jonny Evans and Wes Fofana are all injured.

BRIGHTON

  • For the second time against Chelsea this season, Brighton came from behind to draw 1-1 in their most recent league match, the Seagulls proving quite the draw specialists of late with three of their last four top flight games ending level.
  • Both Leandro Trossard and Neil Maupay may return to the starting line-up after featuring off the bench against Chelsea, although the visitors remain without Adam Lallana and Shane Duffy for their trip to the East Midlands.

THE PREDICTION

Brighton continue to prove their steel and never say die attitude, coming from behind for the fourth time in their last five matches in all competitions in midweek and here against a Leicester side whose confidence must be at rock bottom following their incredible late collapse against Tottenham, this bodes well for Graham Potter’s men. Having lost just one of their last nine Premier League fixtures, backing the Seagulls to avoid defeat once again here looks the smart move, especially when they are in such good form. Utilise the double chance market and back the visitors to pick up either a draw or victory at the King Power Stadium.

Tip: BRIGHTON WIN/DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE
