THE LOWDOWN
LEICESTER
- Leicester conceded a second-half stoppage time equaliser to draw 1-1 with Everton most recently and now they’ll be hoping to enter their crunch Europa Conference League semi-final first-leg against Roma with a win under their belts
- More rotation is expected from Brendan Rodgers as he aims to keep his squad fresh and clear of key injuries ahead of the Roma match, with striker Jamie Vardy edging closer towards a return to action.
ASTON VILLA
- Aston Villa may be looking over their shoulders following four successive Premier League defeats and any point garnered here would be a big one from their point of view as they look to reach the ‘magic 40 point’ mark as soon as possible.
- Left-back Lucas Digne will miss out through a problem with his collarbone, whilst Kourtney Hause, Morgan Sanson and Bertrand Traore will also be absent for this one.

THE PREDICTION
Clearly since their memorable victory against PSV Eindhoven, Leicester have had one eye on their upcoming Europa Conference League semi-final and this has been reflected in their results, losing to Newcastle and drawing against Everton. Although home advantage is in their favour, Aston Villa boasts a squad of players underachieving when considering their natural quality and following an extended period on the training ground, should come out of the traps very strongly in this one. It would be no surprise if Steven Gerrard’s side were to gain at least a point here if not all three, so back them to do just that via the double chance market.
Tip: ASTON VILLA WIN/DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE
