THE LOWDOWN

FULHAM

  • Fulham’s five-game winning run in all competitions was brought to an end by Newcastle last time out with a late Alexander Isak goal separating the sides.
  • Antonee Robinson is available following his suspension for passing the yellow card threshold while boss Marco Silva has a near fully-fit squad to choose from with only Neeskens Kebano occupying the treatment room at the moment.

TOTTENHAM

  • Tottenham were two goals to the good against reigning Premier League champions Man City on Thursday but came unstuck in the second half and that is now three defeats from the last four Premier League games for Antonio Conte’s side.
  • Conte may make a couple of changes here after the Man City defeat with the likes of Richarlison in-line for a start, while Clement Lenglet is another candidate to feature in the starting XI.

THE TEAM NEWS

FULHAM

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, Diop, Ream, Robinson; Reed, Palhinha; Decordova-Reid, Pereira, Willian; Mitrovic

UNAVAILABLE: Kebano (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Duffy (Illness)

TOTTENHAM

PREDICTED XI (3-4-3): Lloris; Romero. Dier, Lenglet; Doherty, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon; Richarlison, Kane, Son

UNAVAILABLE: Will appear here following club press conferences

QUESTIONABLE: Lucas Moura (Injured), Bentancur (Fatigue), Kulusevski (Fatigue)

THE PREDICTION

Despite Fulham’s late defeat to Newcastle last time out, they remain in the upper reaches of the Premier League table and would even overtake Tottenham with victory here. The visitors have been struggling for results of late and Antonio Conte is certainly under pressure, but there were some positive signs against City despite the defeat, and if they could just string a full 90-minute performance together, they could put themselves back into contention for the Champions League places. They have too much quality in their ranks not to turn things around, and despite what is likely to be stiff resistance from the Cottagers, we’re backing Spurs to pick up an important three points here.

TIP: TOTTENHAM TO WIN
