THE TEAM NEWS

FULHAM

Marco Silva has confirmed that winger Harry Wilson will be unavailable for the next ‘two or three weeks’ after he was forced off with an injury in Fulham’s 2-0 defeat at home to Newcastle United in their FA Cup fourth round tie at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening.

Adama Traore has returned to training but will remain unavailable for selection for this midweek clash with Everton, whilst Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Fode Ballo-Toure are all away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, Adarabioyo, Diop, Robinson; Palhinha, Cairney; Decordova-Reid, Pereira, Willian; Jimenez

UNAVAILABLE: Wilson (Injured), Bassey (International duty), Ballo-Toure (International duty), Iwobi (International duty), Traore (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE:

EVERTON

Sean Dyche has said that he does not expect any of his injured players to return for this weekend’s trip down to the capital to face Fulham. However, the former Burnley boss did suggest that Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young are ‘close calls’ for this weekend.

The Toffees will be without midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure due to injury, whilst Dele Alli and Andre Gomes are also set to be missing. Idrissa Gueye remains with the Senegalese national team at the Africa Cup of Nations.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Onana, Garner; Harrison, Danjuma, McNeil; Calvert-Lewin

UNAVAILABLE: Doucoure (Injured), Alli (Injured), Gueye (International duty), Gomes (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Coleman (Injured), Young (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Fulham have had a very disappointing week as they exit both the EFL Cup, losing 3-2 on aggregate to Liverpool, and then going out of the FA Cup with a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United the other day. The Cottagers have been generally quite entertaining with their 21 goals consisting of 64 goals. They now face an Everton side that will go to Craven Cottage with a collection of attacking players aiming to end a four-match winless run of form. Both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.

TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
