THE LOWDOWN

EVERTON

  • The fact that Everton will have been disappointed only to draw 1-1 away to Man Utd last time out and not pick up all three points is a testament as to how well they have done this season under Rafael Benitez with the Toffees currently sat just below the top four.
  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison have made progress but will not recover in time for this fixture, full-backs Lucas Digne and Seamus Coleman are back in full training while Yerry Mina could feature depending on his fitness levels following his Colombia commitments.

WEST HAM

  • West Ham fell to their second home defeat of the last against local rivals Brentford in their final fixture before the international break, although the Hammers have accumulated seven points from their three away games ahead of their trip to Goodison Park.
  • Vladmir Coufal will struggle to recover in time but Ryan Fredericks looks to be okay while there are no other injury concerns for David Moyes.

THE PREDICTION

These two sides will have both been delighted with their start to the season and both will be equally confident that they can pick up three points in this one. Despite being the away side, West Ham won’t be afraid to taking the fight to Everton offensively and with the perfect outlet in Michail Antonio up front, Everton’s defence may be set for a tough afternoon. However, the Toffees have found the net eight times in their three home league games played so far and they will certainly cause West Ham plenty of problems. The last three Premier League matches involving West Ham have seen both teams score and the same outcome is expected here when assessing the quality of both teams going forward.

Tip: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
