THE LOWDOWN

CRYSTAL PALACE

  • Crystal Palace got themselves back to winning ways last weekend courtesy of a 1-2 win away to Southampton, thanks to a second-half stoppage time winner from Wilfried Zaha off the bench.
  • It would be no surprise if Zaha was to be named in the starting line-up this time round alongside Michael Olise, who also started on the bench at St. Mary’s with Nathan Ferguson Palace’s only confirmed injury absence.

WATFORD

  • It’s only a matter of time before Watford’s relegation is confirmed, their latest defeat coming against Burnley which saw them lead with ten minutes to go before a late comeback from the Clarets saw Watford on the losing side once again.
  • Cucho Hernandez remains out with a hamstring injury, but the Hornets have been boosted by the news that both Craig Cathcart and Tom Cleverley have returned to training.

THE PREDICTION

Crystal Palace fans will be hoping to see their side finish the season with a flourish despite having little to play for in mid-table and their plethora of attacking options puts them in good shape ahead of Watford’s visit to Selhurst Park. Roy Hodgson’s time at the club has been a huge disappointment and their players appear to have given up the ghost in terms of survival. Having lost each of their last five Premier League games, the expectation is that Crystal Palace will make it six defeats out of six for the visitors.

Tip: CRYSTAL PALACE TO WIN
