- After taking the lead away at Everton this past Monday night, Burnley will have been hugely disappointed to have capitulated within the space of just six minutes, conceding three goals within that timeframe to cost them the match, leaving them still without a Premier League win so far this season.
- Sean Dyche has a decision to make on whether to respond to that loss by handing new signing Maxwel Cornet his first Premier League start against Arsenal, whilst the Burnley manager remains Dale Stephens this Saturday, although defender Nathan Collins could be available should he pass a late fitness test.
ARSENAL
- The pressure on Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was somewhat eased last weekend after they beat Norwich 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium, although Arsenal fans are still understandably far from convinced and will expect another victory at Turf Moor.
- Captain Granit Xhaka remains suspended after his sending off away at Man City while defender Rob Holding and midfielder Mohamed Elneny will not make it back from injury in time.

Arsenal fans will be desperately hoping that their three points acquired against Norwich serves as the confidence boost needed to kick on and rise up the Premier League table. However, whilst Burnley themselves have made a less than satisfactory start, Sean Dyche’s men will look to draw Arsenal into a battle here and the Gunners will need to stand up to the fight. After their collapse away at Everton, a much-improved performance is expected defensively from Burnley, which could lead to a turgid encounter as Arsenal attempt to break them down. Therefore, backing under 2.5 goals between these two sides appears to be the shrewd move.
