THE LOWDOWN

BRIGHTON

  • The international break came at a good time for Brighton, who have lost their last six Premier League games which has eliminated any hopes of European football for them this season.
  • Adam Webster, Moises Caicedo and Adam Lallana have all been ruled out of this one, while there are some minor doubts over Tariq Lamptey and Alex Mac Allister's availability.

NORWICH

  • After looking like they had snatched a point late on from Leeds Utd at Elland Road, Norwich conceded a winner to the Whites in second-half stoppage time, extending their losing run to seven in all competitions with them firmly planted down the bottom of the table.
  • Irish duo Adam Idah and Andrew Omobamidele have been joined by Ozak Kabak as long-term absentees, whilst Brandon Williams and Josh Sargent are both doubts for the trip down south.

THE TEAM NEWS

UNAVAILABLE: Webster (Injured), Caicedo (Injured), Lallana (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Lamptey (Illness), Mac Allister (Injured)

NORWICH

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Krul; Byram, Gibson, Hanley, Giannoulis; Normann, Lees-Melou, McLean; Rowe, Pukki, Rashica

UNAVAILABLE: Idah (Injured), Omobamidele (Injured), Kabak (Injured), Aarons (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Williams (Injured), Sargent (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Although Norwich are away from home, they’ll know that failure to gain anything from this match when taking into account Brighton’s losing run will likely prove the final nail in their Premier League coffin. The Seagulls have struggled desperately when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net and confidence within their dressing room must be extremely low. Despite Norwich being bottom of the table, they will no doubt run themselves into the ground here and in the likes of Teemu Pukki have a goalscorer among their ranks. With that in mind, consider backing Norwich to gain at least a draw here, if not all three points via the double chance market.

Tip: NORWICH WIN/DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE
