THE LOWDOWN

ARSENAL

  • Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal let a five-point lead over Manchester City fade in mid-February but their 4-0 hammering of Everton in midweek has restored The Gunners’ five-point gap at the top-of-the-table.
  • Eddie Nketiah is a doubt to feature while fellow forward Gabriel Jesus is edging closer to a return, although he is still definitively ruled out..

BOURNEMOUTH

  • AFC Bournemouth played quite well in their 4-1 defeat at home to Manchester City last weekend and The Cherries are actually in relatively good form, or at least improved form, as they battle against the drop.
  • Lewis Cook is available for selection after missing almost two months of action with a knee complaint, but there are still a number of players absent through injury at the moment.

THE TEAM NEWS

QUESTIONABLE: Nketiah (Injured)

BOURNEMOUTH

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Neto; Smith, Stephens, Senesi, Zemura; Lerma, Billing; Outtara, Traore, Anthony; Solanke

THE PREDICTION

The home team are dreaming of a first Premier League title in nearly 20 years but they will be aware of Manchester City’s capability to get on of their remarkable runs where they churn out victories. Having said that, though, Arsenal appear to have a similarly strong winning mentality and they come into this on the back of three successive victories. They face a Bournemouth side that, whilst improved, do look like one of the certainties for the drop, alongside Southampton. The visitors are by no means cut adrift but it is a tough ask to stay up. A comfortable home win is the expected outcome for this one.

TIP: ARSENAL TO WIN & OVER 2.5 GOALS
