THE PREDICTION

In only their second loss of the season, Spurs fell from top to second, as Liverpool leapfrogged their opposition on Wednesday evening. Now, whilst still hurting from the defeat, Spurs face Leicester. A few weeks ago however, Spurs may have been slightly more worried regarding this encounter than they would be this week. Still a terrific side with bags of talent and a dangerous attacking threat, but three defeats from their past five games will have knocked the confidence of Leicester. As would the last-minute victory over Sheffield United which would have seen them gift Sheffield only their second point of the season if it wasn’t for the late heroics of Jamie Vardy. Spurs have the opportunity to really strike fear into Leicester City hearts, as another defeat would potentially see The Foxes slip out of the Champions League and Europa League spots. Similarly, Leicester could do the same to Spurs and could ignite the start of an infamous Spurs collapse, something their fans are all too common with from seasons gone by. Expect a tight game which may be too difficult to call.
