Everton are showing no signs of slowing down this season, with Richarlison, James and DCL tearing Premier League sides apart these past few weeks. The Liverpool game last week was a big test for Ancelotti, with many seeing it Everton’s chance to prove if they are really to be taken seriously this season. It’s safe to say Everton duly delivered, of course there was an element of luck involved, in regards to the absurd VAR decision, and the early loss of Van Dijk made things a tad easier, but regardless, the Toffees still performed well and Calvert-Lewin looked as dangerous as ever, notching his 7th league goal of the season. Southampton, on the other hand, did brilliantly to come back against Chelsea and their resilience and quality up top should worry Everton. The loss of Richarlison will hurt Everton, as he has been key to their unbeaten start this season and his absence will make it a close game. With such in-form strikers as DCL or Ings on the pitch, BTTS would be a sensible bet.
