THE PREDICTION

Despite being reduced to ten men, 20th-placed Sheffield Utd put in an outstanding performance at home in midweek to beat Aston Villa 1-0. Whilst Blades boss Chris Wilder faces a defensive crisis due to injuries and suspension, Southampton have lost eight of their last nine Premier League games, picking up just one point over the course of those fixtures. With home advantage in their favour, Sheffield Utd will be confident about taking advantage of the frailties currently engulfing the Saints, however with the number of absences at the back, the likes of striker Danny Ings may be set to take advantage for the visitors. With that in mind, consider both teams to score here regardless of who comes out on top.
