THE PREDICTION
When the fixtures were released for the 2020-21 season, this game would have been one of the first that each sets of fans would have scrambled to find, with supporters starved of this historic, fierce rivalry for nine years. The absence of fans will certainly play an impact; however it will not take away the hunger and sheer necessity of a win for the two sides. Leeds’s promotion prompted football fans and pundits to predict a “Wolves-like” season for Bielsa’s men, a top half, perhaps top six, finish for the club and, although Leeds have enjoyed a solid season, certain results and performances have let them down. The same can be said for Man Utd who have experienced some frustrating and below-par performances themselves but expect form to go out the window for this one. The winner, should there be one, will be whoever wants it more on the day, so expect a close battle but one that perhaps the hosts will edge.
