THE PREDICTION
They had to work hard for it, but Man City successfully recorded their 20th straight victory in all competitions this past weekend, after beating West Ham 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola’s men can’t rest on their laurels despite extending their lead at the top of the Premier League to 12 points, with another tricky home game in prospect vs Wolves. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are unbeaten in their last five league matches and have enjoyed success over Man City in the past, most notably beating them 0-2 away from home last season. The likes of Adama Traore and his searing pace on the counter attack will prove key for the visitors if they are to get anything out of this match. However, this Man City side looks simply unstoppable at the moment with Guardiola able to utilise his strong squad to rotate at will. Ultimately, such strength in depth will likely overwhelm Wolves and Man City’s fresher legs should be the difference in seeing them come out on top in this match.
