THE PREDICTION
Premier League leaders Man City established clear daylight between themselves and the chasing pack this past weekend after thrashing defending champions Liverpool 1-4 at Anfield, whilst local rivals Man Utd failed to beat Everton at Old Trafford. Pep Guardiola’s will know that they have a long way to go however, and cannot afford to slip up here at home to a Tottenham side who beat them 2-0 in the reverse fixture between the two teams in North London back in November. Spurs will be buoyed by the return of forward Harry Kane, who returned to the side in their 2-0 win over West Brom last Sunday following a short spell out with injury. However, this is a different Man City side, to the one Jose Mourinho’s side beat earlier in the season. Free scoring, rock solid at the back and full of confidence, it would be a surprise if City were not to chalk up another three points in this match, especially with home advantage in their favour.
