THE PREDICTION
The loss of Van Dijk is a huge blow for the champions but if Fabinho’s performance against Ajax midweek is anything to go by then Liverpool may just be okay, well, at least against a side who have only scored twice this season. Sheffield United may have finally managed to scrape a point, but they could very easily still be on zero. It is difficult to look past another Liverpool win and a fairly comfortable one at that. The absence of key players such as Van Dijk, Thiago and Alisson will affect Liverpool but against a Sheffield side who are seemingly struggling so far this season, a Liverpool win to nil and over 2.5 goals is worth considering.
