Having not lost since taking the reins in West London, the German takes his side to Anfield where defending champions Liverpool await. Jurgen Klopp’s men got back to winning ways this past Sunday evening with a comfortably 0-2 triumph away at rock bottom Sheffield Utd. This will prove a much tougher proposition for the Reds at home, where they have lost their last four Premier League games. Chelsea, as they did against other top teams such as Man Utd domestically and Atletico in Europe will prioritise a strong defensive and make it very difficult for Liverpool’s dangerous front three to gain any traction over the course of the match. This will likely lead to a cagey affair short on clear cut goalmouth action and under 2.5 goals scored may well be on the cards regardless of the overall outcome.
