THE PREDICTION
They may have an FA Cup final on the horizon in May, but Leicester are firmly focused on Premier League action here as they host a Crystal Palace side who haven’t played a league game since April 10th. The visitors are currently marooned in mid-table and victory here would see them reach 41 points and certainly ensure another season of top flight football. However, Leicester are still locked in a serious duel to finish within the top four and guarantee themselves Champions League football next season, which will ensure no complacency on their side heading into this one. The home side will take the initiative and look to strike early against Roy Hodgson’s men and with the likes of forward Kelechi Iheanacho in terrific goalscoring form, Leicester will be confident of gaining a lead. Providing they can stand up to Palace from a fitness perspective despite having played just four days previous to this match, then Brendan Rodgers’ side are expected to push through and record a vital win over the Eagles to keep themselves firmly within those all-important top four places.
