THE PREDICTION
Always a historic fixture between two titans of English football, Leeds and Liverpool lock horns at Elland Road, with neutrals hoping for an encounter similar to the opening day of the season, which saw Jurgen Klopp’s side triumph in a 4-3 thriller at Anfield. Leeds however, come into this match off the back of an incredible 1-2 victory away at league leaders Man City despite being reduced to ten men in the first half. How much that game took out of Marcelo Bielsa’s men however remains to be seen with Liverpool known for their high intensity style of play which will test the physical condition of the hosts. The last three matches involving Leeds have seen both teams find the net and when taking into account the reverse fixture between these two sides combined with their natural attacking instincts, then it would be a surprise if the same outcome wasn’t to occur in this one regardless of who comes out on top.
