THE PREDICTION

A disastrous 0-1 defeat for Everton at home to rock bottom Sheffield Utd this past Sunday sees their European qualification hopes now hanging by a thread. Failure to bounce back with victory over Wolves is likely to end the top seven hopes of Carlo Ancelotti’s side for good and they only have themselves to blame when taking into account their home form, which has seen the Toffees pick up just two points from their last five league fixtures at Goodison Park. Ancelotti has no choice but to enforce an ultra-offensive game-plan upon his players in a bid to end a run of successive matches without scoring a goal in this one and give themselves a chance of picking up three points. Having fans back inside Goodison Park may help the hosts enforce this plan with them set to roar their side forward at every opportunity. However, Wolves are a dangerous team on the counter attack and it would be no surprise to see them punish Everton if afforded extra space inside the opposition half. With that in mind, consider both teams to score here as has been the case in four of the last five Premier League games played at Goodison Park.

Tip: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
