THE PREDICTION
Following a hard fought 1-2 win away at Sheffield Utd last weekend, Chelsea have now picked up ten points from 12 under new boss Thomas Tuchel, including victories in each of their last four games in all competitions. The German will be eager to continue the positive start with his new club at home to Newcastle, who themselves picked up three points last time out in the Premier League after a 3-2 triumph over Southampton in which the Magpies ended the game with nine men. Such a huge effort from Steve Bruce’s side is likely to have taken a huge toll on them physically and with a number of injury blows including the absence of striker Callum Wilson through a hamstring tear, this looks a daunting task for them. Chelsea look set to take advantage and the Blues should not only win this match, but also continue their run of having not conceded a goal at Stamford Bridge under Tuchel’s stewardship.
