THE PREDICTION
After booking their place in the FA Cup final at the weekend, Chelsea turn their attention back to Premier League action here with failure to win against Brighton simply not an option if they wish to finish in the top four. The visitors are in desperate need of victory themselves in order to widen the gap between themselves and the bottom three, which currently stands at six points. However, they stand little chance of gaining anything from a Chelsea side who have lost just one of their 12 Premier League matches under head coach Thomas Tuchel. The strength in depth of Tuchel’s squad should see them cope comfortably with the quick turnaround from their FA Cup semi-final triumph to accrue three points here vs the Seagulls.
