THE PREDICTION

Liverpool found themselves indebted to their goalkeeper Alisson for keeping alive their Champions League qualification hopes. The final meaningful action of their match away at West Brom with the score locked at 1-1 saw the Brazilian came up for a corner and powered home a header with the sort of pinpoint accuracy that made it feel like he’d done it many times before. The euphoria of such a moment was not lost on the defending champions, with two wins in their final two league matches now expected to be enough to secure them a top four spot at the end of the season. A trip to Turf Moor certainly won’t prove easy for the Reds against Burnley who beat Jurgen Klopp’s side 0-1 in the reverse fixture at Anfield. However, with the Clarets now safe from relegation they perhaps switched off at the weekend and did not play to their usual standard at the weekend, losing 0-4 to Leeds Utd. Whilst an increased level of performance is expected against Liverpool, the momentum gathered from their last gasp 1-2 win over West Brom should be enough to propel Klopp’s men on and secure another crucial three points against Burnley.

Tip: LIVERPOOL TO WIN
