THE PREDICTION
Liverpool travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal with perhaps one eye on their upcoming UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg clash with Real Madrid just three games later. The defending Premier League champions secured a rare win last time out in the Premier League, beating Wolves 0-1, only their second victory in the past eight league games contested by the Reds. Arsenal may be in a position to take advantage here with the Gunners on a high recently under Mikel Arteta. A North London Derby triumph over Tottenham was backed up by them securing a spot in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League. Most recently, Arteta’s men came back from three goals down to rescue a point away at West Ham. An entertaining affair is likely in prospect here, as neither side have impressed this season at the back. Arsenal’s last four league fixtures have seen both teams score and regardless of who comes out on top between these two teams, it would be a surprise if one of them weren’t to at least find the net.
