THE PREDICTION
Southampton are coming off a superb win over Man City on Sunday where they showed plenty of steel and grit to cling on to a 1-0 win. Everton were on the receiving end of a 1-0 defeat themselves after an unfortunate own goal saw them lose to Tottenham on Monday night. They are hampered here by a couple of injuries to Holgate and Iwobi which reduces Carlo Ancelotti’s options further and with one day less to prepare for this game, that may affect them. Southampton have numerous injuries themselves but their confidence will be high. They will come to Goodison and be confident of scoring at the very least so expect both teams to score in this one.
