THE PREDICTION
West Brom’s horrendous away record looks set to see them miss out on a play-off berth after a 4-0 loss at Nottingham Forest on Monday evening. Steve Bruce’s side have lost just one of their last five Championship games at home but given that some heads could be low already it would not be a surprise to see in-form Coventry City gain one over on their West Midlands rivals. Coventry played well but ultimately failed to take their chances in a 0-3 defeat at home to Bournemouth on Monday and they have beaten leaders Fulham and another West Midlands rival Birmingham City in their last two away games. Backing the Sky Blues to avoid defeat with double chance could be a sensible start here and you could consider adding over 2.5 goals for more value, with four of Coventry’s last five league games, and West Brom’s last three, seeing at least three scored.
