THE PREDICTION
Reading’s goalkeeper and defence did little to inspire confidence for the season ahead in their side’s 3-2 defeat away at Stoke on the opening weekend of the Championship. However, things were even worse for Preston who wilted to a shocking 1-4 hammering at the hands of Hull at Deepdale, despite at one stage taking the lead.
