Peterborough have suffered misery at almost every turn on the road so far this season in the Championship, losing nine of their ten away league matches. It was only a matter of time that they would slip deep into the bottom once their home form also started to fade and having not won in their last six games, that’s exactly where Darren Ferguson’s men now find themselves. Nottingham Forest have certainly stabilised under Steve Cooper, but with one win and five draws from their most recent six league fixtures, Cooper will be well aware that if they are to mount any sort of a play-off push, those draws need to be turned in victories as soon as possible. There is little excuse for Forest do just that here. With home advantage in their favour and a far superior squad than that of Peterborough in terms of both depth and quality, victory is expected for Nottingham Forest.
