THE PREDICTION
A long afternoon is in prospect for Wigan Athletic at Carrow Road against a Norwich side no doubt still hurting after last weekend’s defeat against Cardiff. It was a bad-tempered affair in South Wales and Norwich lost their skipper Grant Hanley to a red card, meaning he is suspended for this one. Despite Hanley not playing, the Canaries are expected to totally dominate play here, dictating the tempo of proceedings. As well as Wigan defended in their 0-0 draw vs Preston last time out, they never looked like scoring and it’s difficult to see them fashioning many chances here as the Latics look to pack bodies behind the ball. Ultimately though, Norwich should prove too strong to keep out, so back the hosts for a victory to nil.
