Wycombe finally got off the mark in the Championship by picking up their first point of the season in midweek. An impressive point it was as well, drawing 1-1 with high flying Watford. This weekend represents a different challenge for Gareth Ainsworth’s men as they host rock bottom Sheffield Wednesday. The Owls have a worrying injury and suspension list with the pressure starting to mount on manager Garry Monk. This is the sort of fixture he will be dreading with Wycombe going into the game believing they can win. The Chairboys will attack the Owls from the off and should pick up at least another point from this match.
