THE PREDICTION
Lee Bowyer’s first game in charge of Birmingham City providing the perfect new manager bounce as the Blues secured a priceless 2-1 win against Reading at St Andrew’s. Birmingham are currently 21st-place in the Championship table, six points clear of Rotherham although the Millers currently have four games in hand on Birmingham. However, this will prove an even tougher challenge for Bowyer’s men as they travel to second-placed Watford. The Hornets are currently three points above Swansea in third and cannot afford a slip up that will allow the door to open for the Swans. Whilst Watford are overwhelming favourites here with four successive wins under their belt including a 1-4 win over Rotherham most recently, you cannot underestimate the effect of a new manager bounce and Birmingham double chance is well worth consideration.
