THE PREDICTION

Defeat away to Derby County in midweek brought an end to a run of three games unbeaten for Swansea. Home comforts will be most welcome for the Swans this weekend as they welcome a fearless Barnsley side to the Liberty Stadium. The Tykes have picked up nine points from a possible nine in their last three matches and are starting to set their sights on a potential playoff place such has been their good form under head coach Valerien Ismael. However, despite defeat last time out, Swansea are a different animal entirely at home considering they have lost just once this season in South Wales. Barnsley, with their youthful exuberance and high fitness levels will run the Swans close here, but ultimately the more experienced hosts should prevail.
