THE PREDICTION
To say that Stoke have been dogged by injuries as of late would be an understatement. With so many of his first team players unavailable, Potters manager Michael O’Neill will be glad to see the end of this season to get his players all fully fit in preparation for pre-season leading up to the next campaign. As a result of the numerous absences amongst the Stoke squad, QPR will sense an opportunity to take advantage and record what would be their third consecutive away win in the Championship. At this stage of the season the goals start to flow more freely, in particular between two sides stuck in mid table with no prospects of promotion or relegation and the same is expected here. Therefore, over 2.5 goals scored looks a shrewd move with six of QPR’s last seven fixtures ending that way, alongside Stoke’s most recent match at the Bet365 Stadium, a 2-3 defeat vs Coventry.
